Growing Accumulation of Obsessions

belacours: #this post kills me in more ways than one. AND OK it’s not just the fact that it’s sad in itself i mean seriously dean you are a dick. but anyway the reason it really makes me upset is because does dean always say no? yes. but guess what? he always ends up helping cas. notice in all three cases that dean actually DID do what cas asked. he says no because he wants to be a ~WINCHESTER~ manly man who doesn’t help others and submit to others. but he DOES help cas. but that’s STILL not the part that kills me. the part that kills me is the fact that BECAUSE dean ALWAYS says no (even though he IS willing to help) makes cas remember that dean doesn’t want to help him. which is so fucked up because dean always DOES end up helping him. but at the end of the day when cas thinks about asking dean for help in season 6 he doesn’t because what does he remember? dean refusing to help him all of these times. dean being a complete asshole and helping him but pretending like he hates it. cas remembers that dean is BOTHERED by him asking for help. but i don’t think that’s the case! if dean was really bothered he wouldn’t help at ALL but he always DOES. ergo when cas is contemplating asking dean for help he doesn’t because he thinks dean will just say no just like every other time and besides the dude has enough on his plate so cas mistakenly thinks that maybe for once he can handle it himself and not have to turn to dean who has already helped him more times than he can count (even though i’m pretty sure if we’re keeping score dean still owes him his fucking LIFE so y’know there’s that…). and the worst part of it all? dean WAS willing to help cas and cas WAS going to ask but because of their completely fucked up communication skills they didn’t know this until it was too late.
